Sacramento Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. (SNHS) is a HUD-approved, CDFI-certified, NMLS-licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1986 and headquartered in Sacramento, California. Our mission: through advocacy and development, we provide direct pathways to affordable capital, education, and housing access, and we advance healthy, empowered, and thriving communities rooted in sustainable living for low- and moderate-income residents. SNHS delivers HUD-certified housing counseling (rental, pre-purchase, post-purchase, foreclosure, and HECM), group education workshops, loan servicing, and down payment assistance lending across thirteen counties: Amador, Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Los Angeles, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Stanislaus, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba.
